ABOUT COMPANY


Larry Lam founded Portek in 1988, initially focusing on port engineering and crane upgrading services. He saw an opportunity to provide services for and to market Bromma spreaders in the midst of rapid growth and expansion of the port business and of PSA Singapore. Thus Bromma Far East and at the same time Portek Systems were formed. Spurred on with 20%-30% growth each year, they expanded to provide port engineering support activities. As the company took on larger and larger projects, they became a contractor for used and surplus equipment which they relocated, sold and leased to third parties. In the late 1990s, Portek offered investment of their equipment in exchange for equity in the ports. Thus forming their evolution into port operations as a key business operation.

What You Will Be Doing As Voice Process

  • Customer Interaction: Engaging in phone conversations with customers to address their inquiries, concerns, or requests. This includes providing information, troubleshooting issues, resolving complaints, or offering support.
  • Call Handling: Managing inbound and outbound calls efficiently and effectively. This involves answering calls promptly, greeting customers professionally, and adhering to call handling protocols or scripts.
  • Problem Resolution: Identifying customer issues or concerns and working towards resolving them. This may involve troubleshooting technical problems, coordinating with different departments or teams, or escalating complex issues for further assistance.
  • Information Retrieval: Accessing relevant customer information, account details, or product/service knowledge to provide accurate and personalized responses. Utilizing computer systems or databases to retrieve customer data and update information as necessary.
  • Documentation: Documenting customer interactions, inquiries, and solutions accurately in designated systems or databases. Recording relevant details such as call summaries, resolutions, and any follow-up actions taken.
  • Quality Assurance: Adhering to quality standards and call monitoring procedures. This may involve participating in quality assessment programs, evaluating call recordings for compliance and service excellence, and implementing feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Customer Service and Satisfaction: Striving to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure high customer satisfaction. Displaying professionalism, empathy, and patience while addressing customer needs and concerns.
  • Adherence to Policies and Procedures: Following established policies, guidelines, and procedures while handling customer interactions. This includes maintaining confidentiality, adhering to security protocols, and complying with regulatory requirements.
