Fortis WALK IN Drive – Roles & Responsibilities For Transplant Coordinator
- Conduct thorough assessments of potential transplant recipients to determine their eligibility and suitability for organ transplantation.
- Provide comprehensive education to patients and their families about the transplantation process, including pre-operative and post-operative care, potential risks, and lifestyle adjustments.
- Collaborate with organ procurement organizations (OPOs) to coordinate the retrieval and transportation of organs from donors to recipients.
- Ensure that all logistical aspects of organ procurement are meticulously planned and executed, adhering to legal and ethical guidelines.
- Stay updated on and adhere to regulatory requirements, transplant program policies, and industry best practices.
