Ingersoll Rand off Campus Recruitment 2023 –Engineer – HIL Responsibilities
- System Design and Development: Your primary responsibility is to design and develop HIL systems that mimic real-world operating conditions to test and validate electronic or mechatronic systems. This involves understanding system requirements, designing test scenarios, selecting appropriate hardware components, and integrating them into the HIL system.
- Test Case Development: You will be responsible for developing test cases and test scripts to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of the electronic or mechatronic system under test. This includes creating simulation models, defining test parameters, and implementing real-time interfaces between the HIL system and the system being tested.
- System Integration and Configuration: As an HIL Engineer, you will integrate various hardware components, such as electronic control units (ECUs), sensors, actuators, and simulation models, into the HIL system. This involves configuring the HIL system, calibrating sensors and actuators, and ensuring proper connectivity and communication between components.

Ingersoll Rand off Campus Recruitment 2023 – Skills Required
- Knowledge/Experience in simulation test benches, test controller specifications via HIL, automated and batch testing, author pass/fail evaluation, generate reports
- Knowledge/Experience in MATLAB Toolboxes –
- State flow, Simulink Real-time
- Knowledge in communication protocols is a plus
- MODBUS, TCP/IP,CAN etc
- Knowledge / Experience with HIL based platforms such as Opal-RT, Speedgoat, and RTDS. Speedgoat experience is a plus.
