What You Will Be Doing As Support Analyst

  • Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: You will receive user-reported problems or issues through various channels such as phone calls, emails, chat support, or ticketing systems. Your main task is to troubleshoot and diagnose the reported issues by analyzing symptoms, asking probing questions, and utilizing your technical expertise. You will work to identify the root cause of the problem and provide effective solutions or workarounds to resolve the issues.
  • Customer Interaction and Support: You will engage directly with users or customers who are seeking assistance. You will patiently listen to their concerns, ask relevant questions to gather additional information, and provide step-by-step guidance or instructions to help them resolve their technical issues. You will strive to deliver excellent customer service by addressing their needs promptly and professionally.
  • Incident Management: As a Support Analyst, you will manage incidents and service requests in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. You will create and update support tickets or cases, track the progress of each case, and ensure that issues are resolved within the defined service level agreements (SLAs). You may escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams or collaborate with other departments to facilitate resolution.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Management: Accurate and detailed documentation is crucial in a support role. You will maintain comprehensive records of support incidents, including the steps taken to troubleshoot and resolve each issue. You may contribute to knowledge bases or help develop self-service resources to enable users to find solutions independently.
