Responsibilities
- Manage Leave of Absence (LOA) transactions and answer employee questions about how and why their pay was calculated.
- Handle complex payroll inquiries and explain payroll calculations from gross to net for all countries within the assigned region.
- Ensure garnishments are processed accurately and comply with legal requirements.
- Follow standard procedures for managing overpayments and repayments, keeping stakeholders informed as per regional policies.
- Identify gaps in payroll processes and find opportunities for improvement.
- Review and prepare standard payroll processes under the regional payroll manager’s responsibility.
- Process taxable items such as equity inclusions, relocation, and imputed income.
- Escalate complex payroll issues, seek guidance when needed, and suggest reasonable solutions.
- Enter payroll transactions into payroll systems accurately and on time.
- Have in-depth knowledge of GlobalView, ADP Celergo, and eTime for payroll processing.
- Ensure correct data entry for all countries in the region while meeting audit and compliance deadlines.
- Improve communication strategies to reduce unnecessary employee inquiries related to payroll.
- Optimize payroll processes and use process improvement tools to enhance efficiency in a shared service model across all operating companies.
