Electrolux Mega off campus Drive – Roles & Responsibilities For Finance Specialist
- Maintain regular communication with the Finance Manager or Business Controller responsible for the entities assigned to you.
- Co-ordinate and execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities and tax requirements (GST, VAT etc.) mainly for the India entities with the respective Business Groups to ensure timely and accurate closure of accounts.
- Ensure reporting is up-to-date and in compliance to company policies and procedures and relevant legal and statutory requirements.
- Preparation of group, management and statutory financial reports, reconciliations and analysis based on local GAAP and group financial reporting standards.
- Adapting to additional task required by the business as and when needed.
- Engage with Business Groups to assist with collections and payments to ensure completeness and accuracy in reporting.
- Contribute and participate in continuous improvement initiatives in all finance and accounting processes & functional areas such as operations, marketing etc.; and other ad-hoc projects.
- Attend to queries from Business Groups and resolve them promptly, responsibly, and in a professional manner.
- Provide support for annual audit, tax and internal control related matters (includes assisting to complete internal controls assessment reports yearly).
- Manage the AP & AR function and team for the India operations.
- To act as backup for other team members in similar roles.
- Undertake and support any ad-hoc/new assignments assigned.
- Actively undertaking activities to increase own competency portfolio.

- Effective communication, good interpersonal skill, a team-player and able to engage in cross-functional collaboration.
- Proficient knowledge in MS Office especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Working experience in finance and accounting activities, competent and experienced in full sets of accounts (GL, AR, AP) and taxation (e.g., income tax, deferred tax, WHT, GST/VAT, etc.) preferably in statutory and legal requirements for India.
- Knowledge in ERP system knowledge such as JDEdwards is advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal skills (Business English).
- Able to work independently, is proactive and is results driven.
