Responsibilities For Account manager

Sales Turnover

  • Collaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons and hospital purchasing teams to drive demand, negotiate agreements, and successfully close deals.
  • Focus on promoting and selling franchise products and implants in your designated territory.
  • Confidently handle day-to-day sales tasks, but don’t hesitate to ask for support when navigating more complex negotiations.
  • Share your weekly and monthly sales plans with your manager, laying out clear steps to achieve your goals for each account.
  • Regularly review sales reports to spot opportunities, address recurring challenges, and develop actionable solutions.
  • Participate in trade shows and conferences to represent the company, highlight our products, and build relationships with potential clients.

Territory Management

  • Respond to surgeons’ calls for daily implant requirements, assess specific implant needs, and offer tailored solutions as a trusted product consultant.
  • Build a strong understanding of customer needs to uncover new sales opportunities.
  • Spot tender or contract opportunities and collaborate with your team to secure them.
  • Train surgeons on new technologies and solutions through in-surgery consultations, one-on-one sales discussions, and group training sessions.
  • Work with guidance to create a strategic and efficient plan for managing your territory.
  • Present products during individual meetings and guide surgeons through the product’s technical manual to ensure they are confident using it.

Key Account Management

  • Identify and keep a record of key customers and decision-makers in your territory.
  • Work with guidance to create a plan focused on optimizing key account development and driving sales growth.
  • Stay informed about strategies to grow key accounts and align your efforts accordingly.
  • Manage consigned inventory and ensure proper maintenance of consigned instruments for key accounts.
  • Look for opportunities to cross-sell products and collaborate with your manager and team to make the most of them.
  • Provide support to customers on inventory matters while adhering to company guidelines.
