Medline Mega off campus Drive – Roles & Responsibilities For Support Analyst

  • Understand team and department service level agreements and follow team guidelines and procedures to manage open issues in an efficient manner to help ensure these service levels are achieved
  • Provide technical advice, guidance, and informal training to users on the MDM application
  • Document reported issues in Jira. Investigate re-occurring issues and develop solutions. The role is of a solution provider. The candidate should be a problem solver and be able to communicate verbally and in writing to describe the details of the problem and the proposed solution.
  • Escalate higher-tier problems to appropriate team members or managers. Ensure that all escalated issues have been thoroughly researched and compared against the team’s knowledge database prior to escalation.
  • Create or change designs to resolve defects and/or reoccurring issues.
  • Create and publish knowledge base articles to assist others in the diagnosis and resolution of specific issues. Consider business processes and system interaction when creating this documentation.
  • Ensure his/her areas of expertise are covered when absent. Work with team members to proactively seek opportunities to improve skills and knowledge through training.
  • Proactively communicate deliverable status to the team members and business users. When obstacles are presented, know when to escalate to stay on target with deliverable completion.
  • Inform team members and other departmental employees when obstacles are presented that need their involvement.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor at all times. Interact professionally and work productively with all levels of Medline employees. Follow Medline’s Code of Ethics and other corporate policies.

Medline Mega off campus Drive – Skills Required For Support Analyst

  • 1-2 years of experience supporting any MDM or similar applications.
  • Excellent customer service skills; strong written and verbal communications skills a must
  • Bachelor’s degree preferably with a concentration in Computer Science, or similar
  • Schooling or experience in writing SQL queries is strongly preferred, PL/SQL is even more beneficial
  • Excellent problem-solving ability
  • Ability to learn quickly and manage multiple priorities
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Knowledge of JIRA or other ticket tracking systems
