Job Responsibility For Network Operations Engineer Role
- Network Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor network infrastructure, devices, and services to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security. Proactively identify and resolve network issues, including hardware failures, connectivity problems, and performance bottlenecks.
- Network Troubleshooting: Investigate and troubleshoot network incidents and outages to determine the root cause and implement appropriate remediation actions. Utilize network monitoring tools and diagnostic utilities to analyze network traffic and performance.
- Network Configuration and Optimization: Configure, maintain, and upgrade network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and VPN concentrators. Optimize network configurations to improve performance, security, and reliability.
- Network Security: Implement and maintain network security measures to protect the organization’s data and infrastructure. This includes managing firewalls, access control lists (ACLs), intrusion detection systems (IDS), and virtual private networks (VPNs).
- Network Documentation: Create and update network documentation, including network diagrams, inventory records, and standard operating procedures. Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation for effective network management and troubleshooting.

- Software Design and Development: Participate in the full software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop software solutions that meet business needs.
