Job Responsibility For IT Associate, Global Service Desk Role

  • User Support: Responding to user inquiries, issues, and requests related to hardware, software, applications, and network connectivity. Providing prompt and effective troubleshooting assistance to resolve technical problems and ensure user satisfaction.
  • Incident Management: Logging, tracking, and managing user-reported incidents in a ticketing system. Assigning appropriate priority levels to incidents based on their impact and urgency. Following established procedures for incident escalation, resolution, and closure within defined service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Problem Identification and Resolution: Analyzing and diagnosing recurring technical issues to identify underlying problems. Collaborating with other IT teams or subject matter experts to develop and implement long-term solutions, such as software patches, system updates, or configuration changes, to prevent future occurrences.
  • Remote Support: Providing remote support to users across different locations, both domestically and internationally. Utilizing remote access tools and techniques to troubleshoot and resolve issues without requiring physical presence.
  • Software and Application Support: Assisting users with software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. Providing guidance on the usage and functionality of various applications and systems. Collaborating with software vendors or development teams to resolve complex application-related issues.
