- Develop comprehensive test plans based on project requirements and specifications.
- Design test cases that cover various scenarios, including positive and negative test cases, to ensure thorough testing coverage.Execute test cases according to the test plan, utilizing both manual and automated testing methods.
- Document and track test results, identifying and reporting any defects or issues that arise during testing.Work closely with software developers and other cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and ensure early identification of potential issues.
- Collaborate on debugging and resolving reported defects to facilitate a smoother development and testing process.Depending on the project, contribute to or develop automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
