What You Will Be Doing As Engineer-PSP

• Create Program missions in different tools.
• Bills of Materials/ RFQ through ARIBA- Sourcing To Contact/ Contract Workspace
• Preparation of sourcing for the parts that needs to be sourced
• Send and manages supplier RFQ based on panel and followup with suppliers.
• Gathering data from the Program Buyers to create Letter of Nomination and sending to suplliers.
• Follow up with suppliers for the data required and upload on different tools.
• Create PR for Open order in SAP.
• Ensure early involvement of the Series Buyers in the program before the series phase
• Manage specific mandated suppliers when requested and agreed with customers

Skills Required for Engineer-PSP

• Process Safety Management (PSM): Familiarity with PSM principles, standards, and regulations, such as OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM), API 14C, IEC 61511, or similar guidelines. Understanding the PSM lifecycle, hazard identification, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies is crucial.
• Risk Assessment and Management: Ability to conduct thorough process hazard analyses (PHAs), such as Hazard and Operability Studies (HAZOP), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), or Layers of Protection Analysis (LOPA). Proficiency in quantitative risk analysis methods, such as Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) software, and ability to develop risk management plans.
• Process Engineering: Strong knowledge of chemical engineering principles, process design, and process simulation tools (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS, or similar). Understanding the interactions of process equipment, instrumentation, and control systems is essential.
• Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS): Experience with safety instrumented systems, including design, implementation, and validation of Safety Integrity Level (SIL) systems. Knowledge of international standards such as IEC 61508 and IEC 61511 for the functional safety of electrical, electronic, and programmable electronic systems.
• Incident Investigation: Proficiency in incident investigation techniques, root cause analysis (RCA), and the ability to identify and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs). Knowledge of methodologies like TapRooT®, 5 Whys, or Fishbone Diagrams is valuable.
• Regulatory Compliance: Understanding of relevant industry regulations and standards, including Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, environmental regulations, and industry-specific guidelines.
