Job Responsibility For Fund Accounting Role
- Net Asset Value (NAV) Calculation: Calculate the daily, weekly, or monthly NAV for the funds under management. This involves reconciling various investment activities, such as purchases, sales, dividends, and expenses, to determine the fund’s net value.
- Fund Reconciliation: Perform reconciliations of the fund’s cash balances, positions, and transactions with custodian banks, brokers, and other relevant parties. Identify and resolve any discrepancies to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including fund statements, investor reports, and regulatory filings. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Performance Measurement: Calculate and analyze investment performance metrics, such as returns, yields, and benchmarks. Provide performance reports to internal stakeholders and investors.
- Fund Administration: Handle various administrative tasks related to the funds, including investor onboarding, capital calls and distributions, and investor inquiries. Maintain accurate and up-to-date investor records.
