What You Will Be Doing As UK Pension Admin
- Enrolment and Membership Management: You will handle the enrolment process for new members joining the pension scheme. This involves verifying eligibility, collecting necessary documentation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will also manage the ongoing membership records, updates, and changes as necessary.
- Contributions Processing: You will be responsible for processing pension contributions from both employees and employers. This includes calculating contributions based on the scheme rules, ensuring accurate deductions from payroll, and reconciling contributions received.
- Pension Scheme Governance and Compliance: You will ensure that the pension scheme operates in compliance with regulatory requirements, such as those set by The Pensions Regulator in the UK. This involves staying updated on legislation changes, implementing necessary processes, and maintaining accurate records to meet reporting and disclosure obligations.
- Benefit Calculation and Payments: You will calculate pension benefits for scheme members, considering factors such as years of service, salary history, and scheme rules. This includes regular benefit calculations, updates for changes in circumstances, and managing pension payments to retirees or beneficiaries.

Skills Required for UK Pension Admin
