Roles & Responsibilities For Insurance-Guidewire Integration-Staff
- Build integrations with other applications and Guidewire’s core systems including PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter.
- Aid in the planning, construction and testing of Guidewire interface services and components.
- Develop online services, APIs, and middleware to make it easier for systems to speak with one another.
- You will do unit tests and will participate in UAT (user acceptance testing).
- As far as I know, when it comes to connecting insurance systems you should think about business and technical requirements that arise.
- Help squash bugs and iron out integration issues.
- Produce technical documents and artifacts for the integration plan.
- To deliver on time, collaborate with functional consultants, developers and client stakeholders.

- Must be flexible to work in shifts (rotational shifts including night shifts).
- Guidewire version 9 technical/functional certification.
- Hands-on experience in Java/J2EE, like web services and API integration.
- Experience in production support activities like queue management, plug-in-related issues, and batch file generation.
- Experience with tools like ServiceNow, JIRA, SoapUI, Eclipse IDE, SVN, and Jenkins.
- Understand service management and change management activities, along with SLAs and estimator tools.
- Have exposure to working in shifts and on-call support.
- Should have worked on incident management and problem management.
