Key Responsibilities:
- Review current processes and suggest ways to improve efficiency while following company policies and maintaining good customer service. This may include exploring AI and automation tools for expense management.
- Manage card-related tasks during the transition of a newly acquired company.
- Open employee card accounts in the U.S. and Canada.
- Handle the cancellation and upkeep of corporate cards.
- Help monitor fraud alerts and manage referrals.
- Notify cardholders of overdue payments and escalate issues when needed.
- Answer corporate card-related questions on Slack, Teams, and other platforms.
- Lead the expense training program for employees applying for corporate cards and help update company policies on expense management.
- Join regular calls with Citi Bank and U.S. Bank to discuss any unresolved issues.
- Assist employees with the Concur Expense tool for submitting expense reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and submit bulk payment files to the Accounts Payable (AP) team.
- Support Finance and other teams at the end of each quarter to ensure all financial transactions are completed.
- Perform monthly AP reconciliations and enter manual journal entries in Blackline.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with cardholders and their managers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal teams and external vendors.
- Take ownership of special projects as required.
- Work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven ability to take accountability for projects and responsibilities.
- Highly developed communication, business, and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in SAP Concur Expense and related technical skills to support internal clients (experience with Cognos is an added advantage).
- Knowledge of card administration using banking systems is preferred. Familiarity with US Bank Access Online and its reporting tools is a plus.
- Hands-on experience managing all aspects of T&E card programs.
- Understanding of accounting systems such as S4 HANA, Blackline, and technologies like AI or RPA.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience using business intelligence tools like Power BI and leveraging data to create insightful reports.
Education and Experience
- Preferably at least 1 year of Accounts Payable handling experience
- Card Program Administrator role experience
- 2+ years experience in accounting or finance-related role
- Excellent English language and interpersonal skills
- BA/BS or equivalent experience
