Roles & Responsibilities For Auditor – Clinical Validation Role
- Validate clinical documents, medical records and healthcare claims.
- Audit the clinical process, coding, billing and documentation practices.
- Identify discrepancies or inconsistencies by comparing data about individuals and clinical data.
- Comply with laws, regulations, established practices and/or company policy and/or industry standards as they relate to health care.
- Validate diagnoses, treatment plan and implementation of the medical procedures.
- Collaborate with health care providers and coders and internal teams to rectify validation problems.
- Control quality standards and participate in continuous improvement projects.
- Conduct all audit findings, reporting and recommend process improvements
