Roles & Responsibilities for Tax Analyst
- Prepare and review indirect tax returns (sales and use tax, VAT, GST etc.) to ensure compliance with laws and rules applicable to Indiegogo globally
- Carry out tax research and consider/review indirection tax impact to ensure we are onside with positions and opportunities have been availed of
- Coordinate and facilitate tax audits /queries by the tax authorities; particularly in respect of indirect taxes.
- Assist with the design and implementation of indirect tax planning projects to minimize gas related exposure and maximize cash flow opportunities
- Maintain up-to-date and well-organized Indirect Tax books of records and filings.
- Collaborate with business cross-functional groups by providing tax advice and guidance on business projects across a variety of areas (from end-to-end implementation within indirect taxes)
- Monitor amendments in indirect tax laws and rules so as to ensure compliance.
- Support other tax projects and perform ad hoc assignments as needs dictate
