Roles & Responsibilities For Apprentice :
- Must have knowledge and comply with all pertinent company policies, procedures and safety rules.
- Help out senior staff in their day to day activities and various projects
- Graduate from assigned training, classes, or apprenticeship programs within schedule
- Watch and learn your job’s industry specific skills and best practices.
- ONLY PERFORM limited work duties under monitoring and observation
- Keep accurate records, reports and documentation as required
- Be able to talk with co-workers and managers effectively
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn, develop skills and accept feedback
- Help team meet time and performance goals
Roles & Responsibilities For Senior Data Engineer
- Develop and orchestrate workflows with Apache Airflow
- Build and maintain pipelines/routers in python to access data from many sources (APIs, SFTP servers, websites with scrapers you will build, emails, pdfs etc.)
- Web scraping with libraries such as requests, BeautifulSoup, Selenium
- Efficiency in processing structured, semi-structured or unstructured data
- work with datasets using pandas and/or polars
- Create unit and component tests with pytest
- Ability to query and analyze data with SQL (PostgreSQL, MSSQL, Databricks)
- Working with platform teams to enhance the data scraping framework
- Review code, promote best practices and enhance coding standards for the team
