Key Responsibilities Required for Systems Engineer
- Improve the efficiency of the engineering process, through development and use of standard engineering solutions for projects.
- Be part of a multi-disciplined project team, control system development and Validation for different domain projects.
- Manage change using the engineering change control system.
- Liaise with cross functional team, Sales, Project, Commissioning and Service teams.
- Liaise with other company, customers, suppliers, and sub-contractors to support the Project execution.
- Adapt Project specific system controls for general industry automation system and high current rectifier application.
- Provide Technical advice and assistance to sales and tendering teams.
- Comply with all company and customer health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities Required for Engineering Operations
- Ensure the highest levels of safety can be achieved during any testing or installation works and is a leading voice to promote safety.
- Management of the local team of engineers involved in the design of HVDC Valves. Support those based in Indian but involved in testing and erection at sites (Onshore and Offshore platforms).
- Responsible for developing specialised knowledge across their team’s disciplines. Train, coach and develop individuals to ensure understanding of the tools, processes and requirements. Proactively develop the competency of the team.
- Adopt local responsibility to ensure the team adhere to all Safety, Quality, HR or Financial policies – has line management in a matrix environment.
- Ensuring training and licences are up to date, especially for site intervention teams.
- Contributes towards strategy and policy development and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.
