Roles & Responsibilities for Associate Full-Stack Engineer
- Maintain & Modernize: Support our AWS product and transition some features to a new, cloud agnostic architecture, without coupled dependencies.
- Forensic Debugging: Review the history of the code and uncover legacy logic problems to find the long-term architectural solution rather than short-term solutions.
- Feature Development: Develop responsive front-end components with Vue.js and develop Python-based back-ends.
- Supportive: Keep and test backlog personally, so that the senior architects can do higher leverage design work.
- Self-Sufficient Problem Solving: Find out required information for new requests, make recommendations for further action, solve problems independently, and be resourceful to raise problems if appropriate.
Eligibility Criteria
- Professional experience with Python, spending 1-4 years professionally writing Python with a focus on clean, maintainable code; and experience with Vue.js or React/Angular if willing to convert.
- Have a logistical orientation and a love of looking at information and working through systems. You like both reading and writing code.
- You are an early stage navigator on AWS and able to maintain legacy systems using AWS, Docker and Git.
- You can write and edit code, and are at ease working with Postgres or MySQL.
