Responsibilities as a Software Engineer at NIKE
- Demonstrated ability to develop and design applications in Java, Node. js, or similar languages
- Experience with front-end frameworks (such as React, Angular) is an asset.

- Building and supporting systems for real-time performance monitoring, system health indicators
- Take ownership for monitoring, diagnosing and resolving production issues in real time as precisely as possible, to avoid service outages
- Clearly communicating the technical issues and their business implications that need to be addressed, ensuring alignment across teams & effective responses
- Overseeing IT service processes (incident, problem, change and knowledge management) in order to ensure a high level of service quality and availability.
- Serve up high value metrics and insights to leadership on the plate and show how site reliability is impacting users experience and overall business goals!
- Working in close partnership with product and software teams to understand system performance, analyze issues report by consumers and proactively identify areas for improvement.
- Driving alignment and building consensus using negotiation and influence with other teams
- Driving programs to improve app reliability on high-scale consumer web/mobile services, and delivering consistent latent behavior
