Selection Process for SBI PO 2025
SBI PO 2025 recruitment is organized in three phases. In the first stage, there is a Preliminary Exam, an English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability online test of 100 marks and 1 hour duration. There is negative marking of 0.25 mark for every wrong attempt. This stage is screening only. After this step, candidates who meet the required score are eligible for the Main Exam. The Main Exam consists of one objective examination which contains: A test of Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis & Interpretation General/Economy/Banking Awareness, English Language (3hours – 200marks), One descriptive exam consisting letter and essay writing (30 minutes -50 marks). All tests will have negative marking as well. Lastly, contenders who pass the initial stages complete a Psychometric Test to assess their personality, participate in Group Exercises scoring 20 marks which includes discussion and case study work followed by an interview scoring 30 marks on questioned banking essentials, current issues and fitness for the role posed scenario moves. The overall grade is given basing on result from Main Examination (250 marks) and Group Exercises / Interview calculation with rest of awarded marks (50) based on performance during predetermined criteria .
