Main Responsibilities
- Good knowledge of the Indian capital market, Clearing House, Custody, Depository and SEBI regulatory structure.
- Role involves KYC/KRA, trade processing, contracting, STP, sent to custodians as well as bank reconciliations and any other such related operations, on Cash Equity and Derivative markets.
- Perform operational activities. Carry out EOD activities and proactively escalate in case of any problems.
- Make sure internal and external process guidelines are strictly followed.
- Would also be asked to be liaised with custody, settlement, Client fund management, regulatory reporting etc.
- Conduct monthly MIS and other reports occasionally.
- Liaises with regional team on all operations related issues.
- Should require taking corrective measures, where needed,
- should own the issues at hand, witness them till they are closed.
Skills & Competencies required:
- Knowledge and understanding of brokerage operations and local regulations of NSE and BSE which includes KYC issues (Preferred) in theory.
- The knowledge of product on financial futures and options products and other investment vehicles is required.
- Self-motivated, proactive and team player attitude (hands-on approach);
- Good oral and written communication and presentation.
- Capacity to develop synergy inside and outside of the team.
- To possess a group and a free-thinking mind.
- To be able to listen actively and exchange information in the team and with other teams as well.
- Capability to resolve conflicts in a positive and proactive way.
