RingCentral Jobs – Roles & Responsibilities For System Engineer/ Developer
- Support reliable and effective use of supported systems by end users (internal employees or external vendors/customers)
- Perform system maintenance and health monitoring
- Maintain records of system assets usage through effective metrics for better adoption
- Implement data backup and disaster recovery strategies for supported systems
- Regularly perform configuration management activities, including ensuring that configuration changes are documented and follow organizational policies associated with access and cybersecurity
- Responsible for maintaining the integrity, performance, and efficiency of supported systems
- Managing, troubleshooting, licensing, and updating supported systems
- Communicate directly with end users and coordinate with IT to solve technical issues
- Conduct training programs to bring users up to pace with new software installations or system changes
- Design and implement technical solutions to solve assigned business problems

RingCentral Jobs – Skills Required For System Engineer/ Developer
- Subject matter expertise in computer systems, web services architecture, database management systems with proven work experience in IT areas
- Experience with or knowledge of programming languages and operating systems; current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, system performance-monitoring tools.
- Experience in project management, application design and integration, and cloud computing (specifically SFDC, Hadoop, NetSuite, OpenAir, Smartsheet, Integrations using APIs)
- Front-end development with GSuite and reporting tools
- Scripting expertise using Javascript/Google Apps Script(JS Based) or other similar programming languages
- Expertise in creating, analyzing, and repairing large-scale distributed systems
- Familiarity with SQL and database operations
- Excellent critical thinking, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in technology or computer science
- Willing to overlap few hours in US shift.
