Responsibilities
- Figure out what the users need, and think about how the system can help with that.
- Create expectations and priorities, and code for the mainframe in a reusable and reliable manner.
- Spot delays in productivity and/or errors in the system and suggest system solutions based on cost benefit analysis of system development.
- Participate in collaborative sessions. Help fix development and operational issues within various systems.
- Comprehend the requirement and provide Design, Development, Testing and Support in the proper way.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or relevant Engineering stream
- 0 – 4 years in Software Development or Mainframe Development
- Applications from Freshers with relevant Technical knowledge are welcome
- Knowledge of Mainframe technologies would be an added advantage.
- Working knowledge of COBOL, PL/1, CICS, JCL, and DB2 would be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of IBM Rational tools such as IDz, RDz, RBD, and RTC is an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge of Software and System Architecture and Design
- Good Knowledge of Agile methodology and Software Development Life Cycle
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
