- Working experience Postgresql DBA with 2-6 years.
- Database Installation and configuration for enhancing server performance.
- Experience should include DB design, Capacity Planning, Storage Management, Performance tuning, Schema Management.
- Database Backup and Recovery Planning.
- Hands-on maintenance activities such as vacuum, full vacuum, analyze the database.
- Database Migration and DB Upgrade with minimal downtime.
- Data Replication – Streaming/Logical replication.
- Understanding of basic database fundamentals: multi-version control, concurrency, transactions, indexing, locking. Analyze, recommend, and implement configuration for Optimized Performance.
- Database security including backup encryption and implementation.

- Good experience in Database Switch-over/Fail-over and Switch-backup/Fail-back.
- Working experience troubleshooting database performance issue.
- Understanding of UNIX environment with shell scripting.
- Ready to work in rotational shift 24×7.
