Key Responsibilities:

• Review and post journal entries and do other basic accounting tasks
• Help prepare and check management reports and related documents
• Prepare and review financial statements and yearly reports; also prepare monthly and quarterly reports for clients
• Handle iXBRL filings and create accounts for publishing
• Take care of any government or regulatory filings based on local laws
• Support both internal and external auditors during checks
• Manage VAT/GST registration and related processes
• Follow standard processes and complete tasks on time
• Understand financial statements well (audit knowledge is a plus)

Qualifications

• Must be a Qualified Chartered Accountant with 1–3 years of work experience after articleship
• Should have a strong understanding of bookkeeping and GAAP/IFRS standards
• Needs to be a good team player, work well alone, pay close attention to details, be proactive, self-motivated, and ready to take on new challenges
• Should have experience in preparing and checking financial statements carefully
• Must be someone who can lead a team when needed
• Should know how to use Excel and MS Office tools
• Able to spot risks and help improve work processes
• Experience using accounting software like BCE is preferred
