Roles & Responsibilities for Testing
- Enhance business and software needs analysis.Develop and improve business and software requirements analysis.
- Develop and evaluate test scenarios and cases
- Develop and develop testing plans and strategies
- Carry out both manual and automated testing
- Discuss, report and track software bugs and defects
- Accept bug fixes and perform regression testing.
- Do functional testing, integration testing, system testing and UAT testing
- Assess if the software fulfills quality and business criteria
- Work in conjunction with developers and project managers and business analysts
- Install the needed test data and create the needed testing environments
- Record the results of testing and maintain records of previous testing conducted
- Take part in the evaluations of requirements and aid in the design activities
- Perform performance, usability and security testing if needed
