Key Responsibilities of the Senior Auditor

Lead and conduct walkthroughs for assigned IT controls to develop a strong understanding of Company technical environment and how it impacts the key business/ IT processes.
Perform substantiative control testing and evidence the results based on work paper requirements and audit methodology established by GEHC.
Ensure documentation tells a comprehensive story, as well as includes 2 different stories: – narrative for the design effectiveness testing; and – narratives in full detail or high level to guide through intuition, insightfulness and success.
Take accountability for the quality and integrity of all deliverables, Premier’s internal standards, and regulatory expectations are met or exceeded.
Responsible for the accuracy, clarity, and completeness of audit documentation and related testing materials.
” Proactively raise and escalate identified keys controls deficiencies or process gaps to the IT SOx Manager in a timeous manner.
Work with control/process owners to validate the deficiencies, evaluate identified risks and reach consensus on appropriate remediation actions and timelines.
Assess the effect of control deficiencies, including identification and validation of mitigating controls when necessary.
Assist in the development and compilation of regular reporting for executive and senior management on IT SOx progress versus compliance plans.
You must be very clear and articulate with updates of significant risk, open issues and where you are with fixing things.
