Responsibilities
- Implement the data analytics (DA) strategy set by IA management for audit tasks, including planning, developing analytical tools, and solving complex problems.
- Develop production-ready analytical tools to automate repetitive processes within IA.
- Work with audit teams to identify business risks, source strategic data, and create innovative solutions to improve audit testing efficiency.
- Maintain strong communication and relationships with audit team members.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience: 1-3 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, or Statistics.
- Technical Skills: Knows how to use SQL and databases. Can program in Python. Has some knowledge of text analytics and NLP with Python.
- Statistics Knowledge: Understands basic statistics, modeling, time series analysis, correlation, regression, and predictive modeling. Can use these skills to analyze data.
- Teamwork & Communication: Works well in a team. Can explain things clearly in writing and speaking. Can handle multiple tasks at once.
- Role Contribution: Helps the Data Science team by improving analytics for the Internal Audit Division.
- Work Ethic: Hardworking, motivated, and always looking for ways to improve.
Preferred Qualifications
- Data Analytics Skills: Advanced tools for analyzing data have been used.
- Machine Learning Knowledge: Knowledge of machine learning has been gained, including methods such as Linear/Logistic Regression, SVM, Random Forest, Boosting, Clustering, and Pattern Recognition.
- Data Visualization: Tools like Spotfire, QlikView, or Tableau have been learned for making charts and graphs (preferred but not required).
- Problem-Solving & Innovation: New ideas have been developed to improve work and solve problems better.
