Job Responsibility For Infrastructure Management Role
- System Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitoring the performance and availability of IT infrastructure components, such as servers, networks, databases, and storage systems. Conducting routine maintenance activities, applying patches, and ensuring proper functioning of the infrastructure.
- Incident and Problem Management: Responding to and resolving incidents and problems related to the IT infrastructure. Investigating issues, identifying root causes, and implementing solutions to prevent future occurrences. Maintaining incident and problem records and coordinating with relevant teams for timely resolution.
- Capacity Planning and Optimization: Assessing the capacity requirements of the infrastructure and planning for future needs. Analyzing utilization data, identifying bottlenecks, and recommending improvements to optimize resource utilization and enhance performance.
- Change and Configuration Management: Managing changes to the infrastructure in a controlled and documented manner.
