What you will be responsible for Associate
- Serve as the main point of contact between portfolio management teams, custodians, brokers, and clients.
- Ensure that all daily cash and security reconciliations are done accurately.
- Reconcile portfolios and quickly resolve any discrepancies that arise.
- Keep a strong understanding of relevant systems to perform tasks efficiently.
- Handle assignments or funds with little supervision, following general procedures, and requiring minimal rework.

Responsibilities for Financial Planning & Analysis :
- Coordinate with corporate groups to lead/drive commercial oversight of Global Advisors Vendor Management including sourcing, demand/inventory management, negotiations, and cost approval
- Participate in negotiations with suppliers to reduce the expense base and improve service capabilities
- Vendor Reporting coordinating data collection, aggregation, and publication to 40+ Market Data vendors to drive quarterly vendor invoicing
- Proactively drive cost optimization by analyzing and eliminating unnecessary demand, vetting and utilizing lower cost alternatives
- Provide data analysis, advice, mentorship, education on Market Data products and influence business unit strategy
- Engage and work closely with business partners and management on sourcing requirements, nurture 3rd party vendor relationships, coordinating data and functionality requirements, projects, priorities, and timelines
Responsibilities for Middle Office – Senior Associate :
- Support the Front Office Data Control (FODC) process by monitoring daily deliverables to clients and addressing any discrepancies that arise.
- Perform daily checks on file submissions, investigate any issues, and ensure that queries are resolved each day.
- Make sure all activities follow corporate standards and guidelines.
- Conduct system testing for Change Control enhancements to ensure smooth updates.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with colleagues and management.
- Always follow internal procedures and best practices.
- Take ownership of issues and drive them to resolution, collaborating with teams when necessary to reach a consensus.
- Track key project milestones to ensure all functional areas are ready before a conversion.
- Keep a log of open actions and issues to track progress and provide a reference for checkpoint meetings with the manager.
- Build and maintain relationships with the Architect Lead to ensure the successful delivery of each milestone.
