Roles & Responsibilities for E-File Analyst – US Tax Forms
- Perform full QA testing on all Gosystem/UltraTax products such as MTB regression testing, forms testing etc., both pre and post releases.
- Properly document issues in the tracker and following up with developers to ensure they are resolved and closed in a timely manner.
- All assigned states are fully tested to timelines and quality standards/ compliance.
- Comparing outputs of the system against state rules and answers to frequently asked questions (FAQs) or locator services may help ensure that tax is correctly calculated.
- Assist in trouble-shooting, train users across various products and finish ad-hoc project deliverables by collaborating with business analysts, managers.
- This is where you can download XSD schemas for the US Federal and State governments, which would allow you to create master schemas per state. The software must be mapped with various code and attributes to read the XSD schema, in order to have proper XML output.

- Skilled at interpreting U.S. tax laws and completing compliance returns.
- Have familiarity with QA Testing strategies, bug tracking and regression testing.
