Key Responsibilities for Accountant at Trellix
- Serving as a critical component of the global revenue team, reporting to the Sr. Manager of Enterprise Revenue Accounting.
- Reviewing contracts and individual sales transactions to ensure correct revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606 guidance and the company’s revenue recognition policy.
- To ensure accurate revenue reporting, you will be in charge of certain month-end and quarter-end closure obligations.
- Working with several teams across the company (legal, operations, finance and accounting, deal desk, accounts receivable, closing and reporting, and IT) to assist with deal evaluation.
- Preparing journal entries and account reconciliations for both deferred revenue and contra revenue accounts.
Key Responsibilities for Inside Sales Representative at Trellix
- Lead Generation: Proactively find and qualify potential consumers using a variety of channels such as inbound leads, outbound calls, email marketing, social media, web research, and channel partner referrals.
- Prospecting: Conduct research to identify key decision-makers within target accounts, then build targeted outreach methods, including combined prospecting operations with channel partners.
- Needs Assessment: Conduct detailed needs assessments to understand the customer’s difficulties and requirements.
- Solution Selling: Effectively articulate the value proposition of Trellix’s cybersecurity solutions, tailoring presentations to individual customer needs.
- Sales Cycle Management: Manage the whole sales process, from initial contact and qualification to product demonstrations, proposal creation, and closure. This includes using the MEDDPICC framework.
