Udacity is seeking a Work-From-Home Lead Germany Support Engineer. This position is for individuals who hold a Bachelor’s degree, or have 2 years of experience under their belt. In this position, you will oversee a support team which supports students from anywhere in the world. Your primary job will be to lead team-members, troubleshoot learner issues, monitor support performance and ensure students receive a positive experience with quick and helpful responses. You also will collaborate with other departments to troubleshoot technical issues and make improvements on how we can better support our customers. This job requires strong communication skills, some leadership ability and a comfort level for working online. Because it is a remote job you can work from home, however, you will need to be responsible and organized enough to work independently.

Role & Responsibility for Lead, Global Support:
- Update, maintain and own CRM configurations to adapt to changing workflow and operational requirements.
- Own the Help Center and Knowledge Base, ensuring students and internal teams have access to current, reliable and easily understandable content.
- Train and maintain AI chatbot functions to help improve self service and response times.
- Act as primary liaison for interfacing with vendors and external project team members regarding tool advancements and process advances.
- Manage the development of, and upkeep of, well-structured data reports and dashboards to show fact-based depictions of support performance for stakeholders.
- Assume ownership for the team’s success through operational support and navigate technical ticket resolution as needed.
- Analyze trends of data and process improvement opportunities you see to continually improve the Support work-flows and operations.
Skills Required for Lead, Global Support:
- 2+ years supporting tech, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience with customer service or support
- Familiarity with Zendesk CS software or similar product
- Basic AI and applied AI fundamentals knowhow
- Preferably certified with training as an added advantage.
- Good communication skills, written and verbal
- Ability to manage work load and decide which ideas and effort would have the most impact
- Empathetic, patient, and compassionate
