Roles & Responsibilities:
- Daily balancing of cash receipts with open invoices and accounts receivable records.
- Look into discrepancies between bank deposits and system (Ovation) records.
- Effectively post payment to customer records in financial system.
- Code and classify transactions accurately.
- Find and research discrepancies between the anticipated payment and what was received.
- Work with internal organizations (e.g. Sales, Customer Service) to address payment discrepancies and billing disputes.
- Keep up-to-date cash transactions, adjustment and reconciliation records.
- Generate and circulate standard reports on the status of cash applications and receivables outstanding.
- Recommend and drive process enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy.
