Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct risk assessments and Identify, document, and sequence technical risks across the environment including translating complex vulnerabilities into actionable business risks.
- Conduct the threat modelling of applications, services and infrastructure to discover potential threats & gaps.Lead the threat modelling sessions with engineering teams for new features including using STRIDE.
- Own the full lifecycle for vulnerabilities discovered in our software and infrastructure.
- Operationalize and refine static (SAST), dynamic (DAST) and interactive testing tools to deliver high-quality security signals without holdup-to-production.
- Manually review crucial business logic code that might be missed by an autoscanning tool.
- Monitor, prioritize, and respond to security alerts (from Intrusion Detection Sensors/Scripts/ SIEM) or other detection sources. Write custom scripts (Python, Bash etc.) to automate the alerting and incident response process.
- Investigate suspicious activity, confirm incidents and assist in incident response and post incident reviews
- Work with development teams to fix findings and as a requirement into CI/CD pipelines resulting in code being scanned and checked before it is deployed.
- Clearly articulate findings, response action recommendations and security advice
