Roles & Responsibilities For Data Analyst Role
- Uses understanding of data flow and our tools to aid in the identification and resolution of problems.
- Reports to the manager and have open communication in order to manage work flow and to facilitate prioritizing of duties.
- Leverages standard reporting templates and tools to support development of reports, create charts, research/write strong qualitative findings.
- Supports Senior Analysts and Team Leads on a daily basis. This encompasses contact management, data verification and reporting.
- Owns the initial exports of data and helps create charts and reports as they are needed.
Skills Required For Data Analyst Role
- Genuinely good at SQL, especially querying and manipulating large amounts of structured data.
- Proficient in the use of Excel for data analysis, reporting and task automation
- Experience with data visualization tools (eg, Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
- able to comprehend how performance is measured for marketing, public relations, and media
- Good appreciation of statistics and how to see data
- Understand structured and unstructured big data.
- Strong experience in data cleaning, validation and quality assurance
- Capable of drawing actionable conclusions and explaining them clearly to a variety of audiences
- Python or R experience for data automation and analysis
