You will track tickets entering your system with the help of such tools as Jira and ServiceNow, classify issues according to their severity, and determine the origin of technical issues. Also, you will help users with the general tasks of the cloud, which may include virtual machine reboots, Cloud storage permissions, and cloud SQL connectivity. The job also contains the daily workspace-related assignments, such as password resets, two-step verification recovery, and an issue with Shared Drive access, which is why it is a perfect opportunity to begin the career in cloud support and IT services as a freshman.

Responsibilities

  • Issue Triage: Track the tickets coming in through Jira/ServiceNow and classify them according to their severity and the underlying technical issue.
  • Platform Support: Help users with typical GCP operations, such as VM restarts, Cloud Storage permissions, and Cloud SQL connectivity tests.
  • Workspace Management: Address day-to-day GWS activities like password resets, 2-step verification (2SV) recovery, and Shared Drive access problems.
  • Runbook Execution: Use standardized Step-by-Step instructions to fix identified errors without the need of escalation.
  • Health Checks: Google Cloud Operations Suite (previously Stackdriver) has red-line alerts about CPU usage, disk space, or service outages.
  • Analysis of logs: Cloud Logging and AI-summary.

Eligibility

  • 0-2 years of experience in IT Support, Help Desk, or Cloud Operations.
  • Education Bachelor in CS/IT or other technical qualify.
  • GCP Knowledge Fundamental knowledge of Compute Engine, IAM, and VPC Networking.
  • Certifications Google Cloud Digital Leader (Required) or Associate Cloud Engineer (Preferred).
  • AI Literacy Knowledge of how to use GenAI (such as Gemini) to debug code snippets or debug logs.
  • Soft Skills Good English communication and customer first attitude.
