Roles and Responsibilities for BIM Specialist at Aecom
- Coordinate with other trades and clash detection on MEP systems Interface with all major trades.
- Create and manage 3D BIM for HVAC with Revit and other BIM software.
- Prepare Detailed Shop Drawings and Construction documents of HVAC work.
- Perform energy analysis and simulations to maximize HVAC system efficiencies
- Verify compliance with the construction code, standards and plans
- Develop and refine BIM practices & standards in the practice
- Attend project meetings and present BIM / HVAC knowledge savvy duties on projects
- Provide BIM support to project teams and mentor junior staff on HVAC design best working practices.
