Responsibilities for Maintenance Technician
- Follows and respects directions given by the Project department.
- Carries out the responsibilities assigned to him/her as an electrician.
- Accesses, monitors, and controls the Building Automation System as the situation demands.
- Conducts schedule-based preventative maintenance inspections.
- Repairs and maintains all electrical and electronic distribution systems, equipment, and appliances including but not limited to high voltage transformers, switch gears, motors and controls.
- Diagnoses and remedies electrical and electronic faults as required.
- Maintains emergency light, fire alarm, clock systems, intercoms, and all life safety equipment for the building.
- Installs new circuits and new lighting and receptacles. Pulls cables and wires as necessary.
- Repairs electrical equipment and appliances located in operation theatres, kitchens, hostels, offices, and classrooms.
- Drafts work order estimates and requisitions necessary materials to complete assigned tasks.
- Maintains files necessary for electrical inspections and documents pertinent information required for the NABH program.
- Participates in preparing design documents for the designated scopes of repair and new construction works.
- Capture all relevant information associated with each servic call to provide a complete account of documented activities.
