Roles & Responsibilities For Associate – PTP
- Manage full PTP process life-cycle from ordering to payment which includes creating purchase orders, processing invoices for payment.
- Verify invoices to the purchase orders and contracts in a timely manner.
- Maintain the vendor master files and keep records up to date.
- Work with internal business partners (Procurement, Finance & Operations) for a smooth process i.e. to coordinate payment schedule & the related purchase orders ahead of shipment.
- Resolve invoice reconciliation differences, and escalate when necessary.
- Process payments and reconciliations in accordance with the company’s policies and schedule.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing of accounts payable.
- Comply with internal controls, SOX and audit requirements.
- Support process and automation enhancements in PTP OPs.
Skills Required For Associate – PTP
- Accounts Payable / PTP knowledge (invoice processing, purchase orders, payment cycles).
- Good understanding of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing financial transactions.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills for resolving discrepancies.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
