This role is for freshers (0-5 year experience) from computer science,IT background with graduation/post-graduation in Computer Science/IT or similar. The successful candidate will be part of the internal IT services team and dedicated to learning core cloud skills, while being an integral contributor to supporting senior members in operational management. You may be helping with basic implementation/setup and monitoring of Azure/AWS resources, fulfilling user access requests, shadowing troubleshooting efforts, supporting updating technical documentation, and learning the fundamentals of DevOps including CI/CD pipelines and version control. The ideal candidate will have a fundamental understanding of cloud concepts, good analytical skills and strong English communication (verbal and written) as well as proactive, self-motivated approach to learning. - Cloud and DevOps are the two teams you will help as a fresh member in this role every day. You’ll learn fundamental cloud skills, helping with basic configuration and support tasks, and observing best practices of enterprise IT operations. You’ll get plenty of hands-on guidance and mentorship as you develop your skills and confidence.
Responsibilities for Azure/AWS DevOps
- Help with the routine provisioning, management and monitoring of Azure/AWS resources as directed by senior level team members.
- Use knowledge to respond to general queries including, but not limited to provisioning/de-provisioning user access in cloud portals.
- Shadow and log troubleshooting for basic cloud issues (VM startup failures, resource quota limits).
- Engage in cloud-based deployment workflows and attend team meetings to gain project insight and technical details.
- Contribute to the documentation (installation guides, FAQ, runbooks) associated with cloud operation processes.
- Use checklists for running daily health checks and status updates on basic cloud services (monitoring dashboards, alerts reviews, simple scripts to run).
- Explore and practice the basics of DevOps: executing a CI/CD pipeline, version control concepts, observing automated jobs.
- Attend workshops and actively seek guidance/support from more experienced peers.
- Notify responsible team members as quickly a possible if any problems or unusual findings are observed.
