Roles & Responsibilities For Collections
- Call, email or write letters to customers when payments are overdue
- Follow up on unpaid invoices and collect payment in a timely manner
- Record keeping of customer payment status and outstanding communications,
- Settle or negotiate repayment plans when customers default on full payment
- Coordinate with internal departments (billing/finance/sales) to resolve billing disputes
- Accounts which are due for more than 30 days are prioritized
- Use appropriate company policies and legal methods to conduct the collection process
- Monthly/weekly targets of collection given by the organization
- Frequent updates on collection status in CRM, or Accounting systems
Eligibility Criteria:
- Tiers and skills (also) for communicational skills spoken in English (and/or vernacular language).
- Basic computer skill (MS Word, Excel and email handling)
- Exposure to the accounting terminologies like invoices, payments, dues
- Capability of efficiently executing calls as per customers
- Target-oriented and performance-driven mindset
- Good negotiation and persuasion skills
- Working as a pressure where the one has to meet deadlines
- Good problem-solving and conflict-handling skills
- Familiarity with CRM or billing tools will be a plus
