Key Responsibility for Data QA Associate
- Review and validate accounting data output of ERP systems. This includes records for vendors, invoices, bills, payments and transactions.
- Use Data QA associates accounting knowledge to learn bookkeeping patterns. Select the desired display of each transaction for the expense data.
- Correct vendor mappings with spend categories.
- Correct duplicate, incomplete or inconsistent records.
Eligibility Criteria For Data QA Associate
- Bachelors degree or higher is required. Majors in Accounting, Finance, Business, Statistics, Computer Science or a related field are preferred.
- Zero to two years of hands‑on accounting or bookkeeping experience, including internship experience is needed. Alternatively zero to two years of experience as a data or quality assurance analyst working with finance data is acceptable.
- Hands‑on experience with least one mainstream ERP, accounting or expense management system for example SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks Online (QBO) Ramp, Xero or a similar system is required.
- Familiarity with accounting standards the ability to distinguish the company’s accounting categories and an understanding of company accounting records is necessary.
- Experience managing processes at the same time is required.
- Basic data analysis skills and familiarity, with Excel, SQL or Python are a plus.
