Roles & Responsibility For Credit Balance Review/ CBR/RCM/Healthcare
- Daily process and analysis of credits balance accounts
- Troubleshoot the credit balance, including:
- Overpayments
- Duplicate payments
- Incorrect adjustments
- Coordination of Benefits (COB) issues
- Patient overpayments
- Begin with reimbursements to insurance and patients when necessary.
- Investigate your payer contracts and payment policies to support accurate resolution.
- Deal with insurers for credit balance differences
