- Carry out comprehensive nursing evaluations, taking into consideration clinical status, pain, hygiene, allergies, safety and general health of the patient.
- Establish nursing care plans per shift as per patient requirements, safety, diet, and evaluation results.
- Determine nursing needs priorities according to assessment and discovered issues, and projected length of stay.
- Enact admission procedures, record keeping and communicate with the patients and families.
- Demonstrate knowledge of AIDET (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, Thank) and GST (Greet, Smile, Thank).
