Roles & Responsibilities For API Research & Development(R&D)
- Analyze novel industry standard API technologies and frameworks.
- Design and establish strong but flexible API’s.
- Discuss the functional issues in a business and relate them to the design of an API.
- Support and implement REST, GraphQL or preferred API frameworks as per the requirement.
- Create API and solution-based prototypes/POC’s.
- Carry out optimization, testing, and scalability evaluations.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Proficient knowledge of the principles and technologies of APIs such as REST, GraphQL and SOAP.
- Basic knowledge of database.
- Knowledge of version control (Git).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is appreciated.
- Well developed analytical, problem solving and research abilities.
- Ability to work alone and as part of a group.
- In the case of senior positions, API development/ designing/ integration/ research and development is a must in addition to experience.
