Responsibilities
- Financial Document Review: Checking reports like Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements from companies around the world.
- Data Analysis & Extraction: Finding important information and numbers from financial documents.
- Quality Control: Carefully checking your own work and reviewing others’ work if needed.
- Accounting Standards Knowledge: Knowing US GAAP, local GAAP, or IFRS (more knowledge is a plus).
- Timeliness & Accuracy: Finishing work on time with good quality is very important.
- Teamwork & Independence: Able to work alone and also with a global team.
Required Background/skills
- Schooling: You must have studied Accounting, Finance, or Business in college. If you studied in a top college, that’s even better!
- Work: You can be new or have up to 2 years of experience checking money reports.
- Finding Information: You must be able to look at money reports and find useful details.
- Reports: You should know about 10K reports, yearly reports, and Solvency reports and be okay with doing research.
- Money Knowledge: You should know about finance and accounting papers.
- Being Careful: You must be good at spotting mistakes and solving problems.
- Computer Skills: You should know how to use Microsoft Office, especially Excel (like making tables and searching for data).
- Work Style: You should be neat, responsible, able to do many things at once, and work alone when needed.
- Talking and Writing: You should be good at writing and speaking clearly.
